Another bunny to love

My friend and neighbor Andrea called me yesterday afternoon with a crazy story. She does rescue of local stray dogs in our area, and two of the ones she's currently caring for found a little baby bunny in her backyard. And, I mean, tiny. We took it since her home wasn't as conducive to such vulnerable animals, due to the loud and frisky canines. We've been bunny-sitting since then. I'd planned to take it to the Oak Mtn. Wildlife Rehab Center, but they said that since it's fully formed, has fur, its eyes are open, and is hopping around, we need to let it go back into the wild. So, tonight we'll release this itty baby. We're praying for its safety. It's been so fun to watch and is super snuggly, not afraid of us at all. What a sweet blessing, especially when small babies are on our mind so much right now.
