Just a great song I heard today and needed to hear. Hope it encourages someone out there. It's an awesome reminder that it's not about my works, or my worth as a person, but because He's such a great God and loving Father. Like I've heard before, I did nothing to earn His love in the first place, and can't do anything to make Him stop loving me. So thankful...
Just the Way I Am
Big Daddy Weave
Unbelievable, I'm blown away it's true
By the matchless love that I've found in You
Undeniable, the change in me
I've never felt so free
It makes me want to dance
You make me want to dance
When I think about you
You love me, You love me
You love me just the way I am
You love me, You love me
You love me just the way,
Just the way I am
Ever patiently accepting me
Your love in spite of everything I do
But oh so faithfully
You're committed to the process that makes me like You
Not when I'm good enough
Not when I clean my act up
Not when I cross the line the thousandth time
And become a better man
Your grace is more than enough
To cover all my sins, Lord wash them away
So right here today
You love me just the way I am
Growing up, I often said "I wished I had a corner," meaning I wanted a little hideaway where I could get alone and just BE. It got to be kind of a joke in the family, but they understood what I meant - a spot just for me; to read, journal, garden, enjoy music, meditate on life, or pray. The "corner" I longed for wasn't even an actual place, but more, the opportunity to do those things I love. So, welcome and see what is going on in our family's corner!
