Dunkin' Donuts to target Birmingham

Birmingham Business Journal - August 3, 2007

Dunkin' Donuts plans to open 72 locations in the Birmingham area in the next several years as part of an aggressive push to triple its size to 15,000 locations across the country by 2020. Officials with Dunkin' Brands Inc., its parent company, said Birmingham's debut stores could open within the next 12 to 18 months, with locations in shopping centers, convenience stores, retail establishments and free-standing facilities (averaging 2,000 square feet).

That is awesome! I am with you on choosing DD over KK. I love their blueberry cake donuts. Yummmm. I also saw that Publix is going to start carrying Duncan Donut Coffee in August. May already be there. That may be more of a Sandi thing...
