The cast is off. The longest 8 weeks of our lives is over.
Praise the Lord for a good report from the doctor. Isaac is in a Wee Walker boot to support his leg right now, and we're going back in a month or so, to see how he is doing with the boot, to see if he is walking fine. How well he's getting around by then will determine if he will have to keep wearing it a little longer or not from that point. Thankfully, he can at least remove it to do water activities.
Thank you for your prayers through this time of surgery and healing. We can't wait to hit the pool, ride bikes, run and climb, and bathe normally again!!
YEA!!! Summer, here we come!
Growing up, I often said "I wished I had a corner," meaning I wanted a little hideaway where I could get alone and just BE. It got to be kind of a joke in the family, but they understood what I meant - a spot just for me; to read, journal, garden, enjoy music, meditate on life, or pray. The "corner" I longed for wasn't even an actual place, but more, the opportunity to do those things I love. So, welcome and see what is going on in our family's corner!
