I just wanted to give a general update since my blogging has been sporadic lately. We're all doing well, and here is what each person is up to!
James:
- still working hard as a Critical Care Transport Nurse with Children's Hospital, and also finishing up the orientation process to work on UAB's Critical Care Team as well.
- serving as an elder at church and leading Isaac's den in Cub Scouts
- currently still ranked as "Best Husband and Father Ever," by our family
Jenn:
- busy with home schooling Isaac and Abigail, and administrator over our cover school
- juggling trying to keep the household flowing somewhat smoothly while also snuggling Elijah as much as possible
- growing a baby boy
Isaac:
- our 10 year old is doing well with school with best attitude of any year so far
- enjoying flag football and Cub Scouts
- relishing the role of big brother to almost 3 siblings
Abigail:
- is now 7 and recently got her own library card, since she is a voracious reader these days
- still Mama's right hand helper with Elijah, and eager to share cooking and cleaning jobs
- sweetest daughter ever, and light of our lives
Elijah:
- turned 21 months yesterday, and is saying new words daily, and repeating everything
-charming socks off strangers is daily occurrence
- loves to play "puppas" (puzzles), and ride his little bike and play "ouside!" as much as possible
Owen:
- see http://ourbonusbaby.blogspot.com :-)
Growing up, I often said "I wished I had a corner," meaning I wanted a little hideaway where I could get alone and just BE. It got to be kind of a joke in the family, but they understood what I meant - a spot just for me; to read, journal, garden, enjoy music, meditate on life, or pray. The "corner" I longed for wasn't even an actual place, but more, the opportunity to do those things I love. So, welcome and see what is going on in our family's corner!
