Adventures with Lambert, part 2

At the risk of sounding like a lunatic family, I have to share another adventure with Lambert, my Mom's stuffed sheep. See the post from April 4th "A Weekend with Family" if you've forgotten. My Dad is trying to send my Mom rushing out of town early, it seems, as she plans a trip with 3 of her 4 sisters this next week. He sent me the following note and picture yesterday:

Root beer, Marlboro's and his hat on backwards. I have had it with this lamb. Dad
After I gained a little composure, and asked what in the world he was doing with the cigarettes, and root beer, on the couch no less! This is Dad's reply:

He brought them in after another night out...I am so disappointed. And we tried to do everything right...I tried to be his best friend, I tried to dress like him, I hung out with his friends, we went to things together...but none of that worked. I don't know how I went wrong. He has been down today. Not able to play with friends. No email or myspace. No video games. Just homework and listening to classic, pastoral music. If he behaves I will let him do some things and maybe go to Pensacola with Mom.

Yes, obviously, Dad has too much time on his hands. :-)

Do you think he would like to try his hand with his favorite 15 year old neice?

A stuffed lamb shouldn't smoke. It could lead to becoming a gyro.

Maybe you could let your dad read your new parenting book (after me, of course!)
