Whether you knew of him or not, you should read this. It'll fill you in a little on why so many of us miss Rich.
This one mentions my two favorite Christian music artists in one article.
Growing up, I often said "I wished I had a corner," meaning I wanted a little hideaway where I could get alone and just BE. It got to be kind of a joke in the family, but they understood what I meant - a spot just for me; to read, journal, garden, enjoy music, meditate on life, or pray. The "corner" I longed for wasn't even an actual place, but more, the opportunity to do those things I love. So, welcome and see what is going on in our family's corner!

Why is his influence so different and real?
In my opinion, because his focus was so pure - he was a man after God's own heart. He worshiped through the music God allowed him to create and just happened to let us in on it. It was never a "career" to him, obviously, since he gave almost every penny away and lived in a hogan on an Indian reservation. He was a radical believer, for sure.
Precious-one of the 1st artists Shane introduced me to as a young believer~amazing man of God-thank you for keeping his music alive!
