Miscellaneous Disney Notes

First, a sweet email from my Dad once we returned to real life, helped sum up some of the best parts of our past week together. I have to share it:

"Some things that stand out from the week:

You held up well and God gave you a good week. I am not sure how you did it, but.
James is a good guy and a great husband and dad.

Weather/temp/other was all good.
No surprises…the planning worked.
Meals were super. Lodging a good call.

We left not having missed anything so significant we regret it.

The children made it a great trip. Their demeanor, their spontaneous enthusiasm, their agreeableness, lack of self, manners and good behavior were all in contrast to the many who were not like this. You and James do a fine job of raising them and it was a pleasure being with them.
Highlight of the week…seeing the kids gasp and smile at the magic of it all, several times."

Then, some hilarious and horrible quotes from Disney also. :-)

We were outdoors in the amphitheater waiting on the Fantasmic show to begin and "the wave" started across the stands. A fellow behind us finally had enough as it went on and on:
"This is just out of control! It's a monster-- like Wal-Mart!"

Overheard in a line in a gift shop, as a mom fussed at her whining child:
"Would you just shut up? I'm trying to buy you some stuff!"

I love reading about the fun you had! Makes me really want to go back. Your pictures are great. Your dad's notes brought tears to my eyes. Just a sweet reminder of what great parents you are to Abi and Isaac!
