A girly celebration

I'm sure if you're a mom, you agree with me that it is very powerful when a person really "gets" your kids. I'm blessed with some precious friends, who do love my kids as their own, and it seems like God has given each child a special person or two who really identify with them and bring out the best in them. Abigail has a special place in the heart of my friend Jenn. We couldn't get together a few weeks back, closer to Abigail's birthday, but last week, they had a playdate that went beyond just making up for lost time. It was a precious day, filled with details that Abi truly enjoyed and loved.
Abigail loves Susan from the Chronicles of Narnia, and Jenn planned many details to honor that passion of my daughter's. From their very own "Mr. Tumnus' tea party", to personalized gifts, Abigail was totally treated and adored. What a special memory!
