Old Baker Farm

One of the things that has drastically cut down my blogging time of late is the recent job I've taken on. No, I wasn't bored or anything. God actually impressed upon myself and others this past year the need for a homeschool cover through our home church. It's been an adventure learning how to start and manage such a thing, and I'm thankful to be the administrator, though at times, I feel like I'm in way over my head. Anyway, we have been on a few field trips with our school group already this year. My favorite season is fall, and as much as our family loves the outdoors, it's no wonder that our annual trip to the Old Baker Farm would be great fun. We enjoyed time with Graced and Amy's families, and had sweet Mrs. Baker's undivided attention for most of our time there, since we were the only group visiting that afternoon. It was such a treat. If you live anywhere near us, I strongly urge you to visit this farm for your pumpkins in the fall, and Christmas trees in the winter. The Bakers have worked on this land for 100 years, and are such neat, real, people, who obviously love their job, and love sharing about it with others. I can't use enough superlatives to describe my appreciation for them. I will, however, share fun pictures with you. :-)

Such wonderful pictures! I'm praying for you in your new job. I know the adjustments can be tough. Can I be part of your field trips even though my kids aren't in your cover school? Just such fun mama's to hang out with! :)
